I suspect Chevy will have identified the Bolt EV battery issue before then and will have either issued a hardware-based or software-based (both?) recall.The process I have to go through is: 1. press the unlock button (for all doors) 2. open the driver's door. 3. then the person at the rear of the car can open the trunk. 4. shut the driver's door. 5. wait for the trunk to be closed. 6. driver off.
